Biography

Hanna Breetz is a political scientist who studies the political economy of alternative fuels and vehicles. Her research investigates the political factors influencing federal and state policy decision-making, including the political construction of energy and emissions metrics. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University.  She earned her Ph.D. in political science from MIT, and was a pre-doctoral fellow in Energy Technology Innovation Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and a post-doctoral fellow in the Energy Biosciences Institute and Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley.
